Every year, sometime in the six or seven months between fashion weeks, there's always an unassuming brand who drops a gimmicky fashion accessory in to order capitalize on all the fashion SEO or whatever. And 2013's first honorable distinction belongs to...drum roll, please...Animica. Dubbed the "hankie pocketbook" (um, isn't a "pocketbook" a fucking purse?), they're basically little notebooks that fit into a shirt or breast pocket, but the tops are angled in a way to resemble a pocket square. Sooo fucking clever, right? I'm really unsure whether to shit on these or express envy that I didn't come up with an amazing idea that'll surely make a billion dollars with tech guy herbs everywhere. You be the judge.
