These new hats from SSUR and Been Trill are, admittedly, slightly different than the other products we've seen from the Been Trill collective thus far. I mean, the Old English font and that kind of shit. Aesthetically speaking, the hats are pretty good looking, but, really though, this collabo is two groups of people sitting in a room, picking pre-existing graphics and slapping them on some other pre-existing thing pretty haphazardly before charging you $75. A Misfits logo next to some other random SSUR logo flips? Is this some statement on content appropriation? Is that what they're getting at? At this point, I feel like being a streetwear designer is kind of like that one time on Curb Your Enthusiasm when Larry orders a latte.
