The Michigan based workwear company has been around for over 100 years now, so it’s no surprise that almost every American male has probably owned at least one item from Carhartt in his lifetime. Your dad appreciates the durability, functionality and loose fit of Carhartt's mainline. You appreciate the way the duck canvas looks with seventy layers of shirts underneath. Your dad wears Carhartt to work in the garage or tailgate, you wear it to brunch and maybe to dip dye some T-shirts.

You both need to make sure your arches have the support they need. Birkenstocks are so ugly, they’re beautiful and so comfortable, they’re cool. Anyone in the universe can pull off a gold Rolex, but, let’s be honest, you and your dad won’t be both wearing Rolexes at the same time. In fact, it's practically impossible because you're gonna have to to wait until your dad gives you his.

Any Italian Tailoring Brand Ever

Lubiam, Sartoria Partenopea, Boglioli, Isaia, Brioni, you name it. If it’s Italian, you and your dad can both get away with it. Make sure everything is tailored correctly and classic Italian suiting will make a guy of any age look pretty fucking snazzy. Also, I’m pretty sure the older you get, the better some of these classic Italian labels look, so this is one of those times your dad will look cooler than you in basically the same gear. OLD DUDES IN DOUBLE BREASTS AND FAT CUFFS ABSOLUTELY KILL THE FUCKING GAME.
