Here’s how this worked: I played Drake’s new album, Nothing Was The Same, for Boy A and Boy B, my twin six-year-old sons. The plan was to let them listen to each song and then draw a picture based on what they just heard. And that's what mostly happened. However, when we got to song track eleven, Boy B decided he didn’t want to participate anymore. Boy A copied him because I don’t really know why. I was in no position to argue otherwise though. Trying to get a six-year-old to do something that he doesn’t want to do is no less difficult than trying to get the planets to reverse their orbits. Enjoy what you can, I suppose. Boy A’s pictures are in blue and Boy B’s are in black. Their words are presented in quotes, while mine stand alone.

“Worst Behaviour”
“This is a man with a shark body and he’s holding a balloon!”
Gross. Who’s the other guy?
“That’s Tree Rex.”
From Skylanders?
“Yes, sir.”
This song reminded you of Tree Rex.
“EVERYTHING MAKES ME THINK OF TREE REX!”
Chill out, motherfucker.
