Creative collective Been Trill just launched their new website, a digital cacophony of Internet things including random Youtube clips and previously unreleased videos. The new website also serves as a platform for a new online store, which, for the time being, features only pre-orders for the group's "Free Keef" T-shirts. As far as site navigation goes, it's fairly straight forward. Each video clip can be accessed by clicking on a seemingly unrelated, corresponding emoji. There's also the ever important "About" section, which attempts to explain what the fuck Been Trill is. It reads:

"#BEENTRILL# IS AN ART COLLECTIVE AND DJ CREW WHOSE IMAGE AND SOUND IS DEFINED BY THE FRENZY OF NEW YOUTH CULTURE FOUND ON THE PAGES OF THE DEEP WEB AND ON THE BLOCKS OF BIG CITIES. WORKING IN ALL MEDIUMS FROM 3D BODY SCANS TO MIX TAPES TO APPAREL DESIGN #BEENTRILL# HAS CREATED AN ART PRACTICE THAT SEES NO LIMITS. THEY EXAMINE THE AREA WHERE HI-BROW MEETS LO-BROW; THE RUNWAYS IN PARIS TO THE BOOTLEGGERS ON CANAL STREET. THEY FIND INSPIRATION WHEN HIGH-FI MERGES WITH LOW-FI; AN AUGMENTED REALITY APP FOR WHEAT PASTE POSTERS. THROUGH EXPERIMENTAL SOUND, INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY #BEENTRILL# HAS CREATED A LIFESTYLE BRAND THAT IS FOR THE NEXT WAVE OF NET SURFERS."

In summation, they are who we thought they were: a vaguely post-modern streetwear brand and DJ collective. Listen, whether or not they're a champion of youth culture or merely profiteers is a debate we can see both sides of and something that warrants a lot more ink than we're willing to spill right now. For the time being, go explore and maybe cop a tee because we can all use a little more Sosa in our life.
