At the Supreme x Comme des Garçons drop, it didn't come as that much of a shock that the hypebeasts waiting in line didn't know shit about CDG. We can accept that. They also didn't know anything about the Yankees, even with Supreme being a New York staple. But with the hype surrounding the Supreme x Jordan Brand release, you'd expect people to know more than a few things about the Jumpman himself, right? He's only one of the most recognizable athletes of all-time, the best basketball player ever and the name behind one of the most popular and hyped shoe brands.
But since this is 2015 where anything is possible, when the Complex News team hit the lineup for the Supreme x Jordan apparel release, these fucking kids didn't know a goddamn thing. The simplest question—how many championships Jordan won—was left unanswered a few too many times. Some didn't even know that Phil Jackson was his head coach or about the short-lived #45 era when he returned from his stint failing amazingly at minor league baseball. Come on, fam. We're talking the most influential person in sneakers, not to mention the G.O.A.T., but you can't even give a basic rap sheet? Get all the way the fuck outta here forever.
