How many fashion industry heavyweights does it take to design a leather kilt for Kanye West? Apparently quite a few. Since the Internet exploded in their typical over the top "WTF" frenzy a week ago, when Yeezy wore the bizarre piece at the 12/12/12 Sandy benefit concert, this video has come to light showing just how Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci and Kanye's team went about the task of outfitting Yeezy. Side note for those with terrible memory: He's been rocking this since the Watch The Throne Tour aka over a year now, so stop bitching about it already. The video goes on to explain that the kilt was really Tisci's vision, but when he sat down in Paris for a meeting with Kanye and Virgil Abloh, "[Kanye] just knew that he should be wearing a kilt." But just don't call it a skirt because 'Ye will motherfucking embarrass you. And no, the irony isn't lost on me.
