Do you guys remember LUGZ? I think Birdman wore them or something back in the day when he could only afford, like, Benzes. Anyway, the color of these Yuketens made me think of LUGZ, which, in turn, made me think of this guy I knew back in the day that exclusively wore pleated jeans and LUGZ. His jeans were pleated no matter what and they stayed pleated no matter. Sprinting to catch a bus—PLEATED. Hitting up the Bodega to buy loosies—PLEATED. Regardless of the activity, this was dudes uniform. One time we all crashed a friend’s house and his jeans stayed pleated despite him sleeping in them. I’d like to think that if I still hung out with him now he’d be wearing the same shit.
