The Harder It Is To Figure Out What Clothing Was Worn, The More Effective The Editorial

The Bureau Belfast make some atmospheric editorials don’t they? Pictures of the ocean, incredibly random details of jackets, amusement parks, Europe—what more could you possible want in a fashion editorial? Oh yeah, and a picture of the model walking away from the camera. That shot is essential. Also, for a legit editorial you need the ratio of fashion to nature photos to be 2:3. That’s 3 photos of trees and water and shit to every 2 photos of buttons and cuffs for those of you who failed math class. Also, never, NEVER, breakdown the brands and labels featured therein. The harder it is for people to figure out what clothing was worn, the more effective the editorial.
