Jack Purcell's are typically pretty unassuming (in 2008, I bought a pair from J.Crew as my first real "#menswear sneaker"), but lately we've seen a couple pairs that look like they intend to stand out. Yesterday, we brought you a mid-top version made out of raincoats and today we've got this acid wash style that should be a contender for your go-to summer footwear. As a low, it will give you that crucial ankle breathing space you're going to need when the surface temperature in these streets is approximately 600 degrees Kelvin, while the indigo-dyed upper and two-toned laces make these some sneakers the 2008 version of you would have scoffed at as "too crazy" and "not classic enough."
