An In-Depth Look At Nike's Free 4.0 Flyknit

Nike Flyknit technology is probably the brand's greatest achievement of the past 10 years. It's an innovation they've, perhaps too liberally at times, applied to everything from running shoes to casual styles to, now, even basketball sneakers. Recently, the label unveiled its latest collection of sneakers that features the tech, including the Free 3.0 Flyknit and the above 4.0, which we took an in-depth look at here in its "multicolor" colorway. Having worn these kicks around the office for the past day, I can basically attest to the fact that they're essentially house slippers disguised as Nike running shoes. Like, I would have absolutely no qualms about wearing these with a robe around the crib, while drinking a latte on a Sunday morning, or even with some jeans and a T-shirt out in public. I imagine they'll also hold up well to the gym, where superior "ground feel" (I think that's a thing performance folk say) will help your balance and give you more stability as you try not to slip a disk doing squats. Whatever the setting, the Nike Free 4.0 Flyknit provides both comfort and style. It drops 5/1 at Finish Line.
