I'm not gonna lie, I barely noticed that the Stan Smith was retired for a hot minute. But I have been totally reminded of that fact by the eleventy different collabos Adidas has churned out in the last six months to celebrate the iconic sneaker's return. The ones I really wanted were those python joints, but I think I was too busy ordering food at my favorite artisanal drive-thru at the time. I do dig these Bedwin & The Heartbreaker versions because they kind of remind me of those paint splattered 'Gielas, but, like, obviously way cheaper. And, damn, that heel pull detail is dope. The only thing I'd change? The “Originals by Bedwin” heel stamp. EVERYONE KNOWS THAT WHEN YOU GET TO COLLABO WITH YOUR FAVORITE COMPANY YOU PUT THE LOGO ON THE INSERT.
