“Give Me One Of The Vanilla Bullshit Things”

These new hats from SSUR and Been Trill are, admittedly, slightly different than the other products we've seen from the Been Trill collective thus far. I mean, the Old English font and that kind of shit. Aesthetically speaking, the hats are pretty good looking, but, really though, this collabo is two groups of people sitting in a room, picking pre-existing graphics and slapping them on some other pre-existing thing pretty haphazardly before charging you $75. A Misfits logo next to some other random SSUR logo flips? Is this some statement on content appropriation? Is that what they're getting at? At this point, I feel like being a streetwear designer is kind of like that one time on Curb Your Enthusiasm when Larry orders a latte.

The irony of you guys giving this free PR and help boost the sales.

The hate is exactly what they aspire for

This is perfect. These hack “streetwear” brands are completely devoid of creativity and inspo. Also, they are worn primarily by herby, overweight, mouth-breathing white kids that would probably give up their lunch money if you approached them in public in broad daylight.
