A few months ago, three big name designers from Nike left the company for their number one rival Adidas. Denis Dekovic, Marc Dolce and Mark Milner were responsible for some of the recent happenings at Nike in the realms of soccer, running and sportswear, and the move was seen as a pretty big game-changer in terms of sneaker politics. But the move isn't exactly as cut and dry as you may think, and now Nike is suing the three designers for $10 million in damages, claiming that they're going against the non-compete agreement they all signed with Nike.

Nike is claiming that the three stole some trade secrets (one of my favorite business terms TBH), copied design information from their computers that held some important future plans and tried to cover their tracks by deleting emails and text messages that led up to the departure. Nike also claims that Adidas was aware of all the possible issues and offered to pay any legal fees that resulted from the move. Adidas has come back with a statement that basically says, "We're going to recruit talent from anywhere we want, bitch."

This shit is like a scene straight out of The Perfect Score. Only this time it's not about stealing the answers to the SAT and actually involves millions of dollars worth of business. Shit is poised to get wild cutthroat at any moment, if it hasn't already. This is all really serious business, guys, and I'm almost afraid to make any jokes about it. But money is money, I guess. I mean, I like both Nike and Adidas. Can't we all just get along? Please? C'mon, fam. Anyhow, JUST SUE IT.
