Adidas' come up cannot be stopped. They're straight copping up all the available, hot talent in the design world and probably hoping that it will finally—truly—make them better than Nike. Spoiler alert: It won't, but, hey, similar strategies have worked for the Yankees and Heat. Already having Rick Owens, Raf Simons, Yohji Yamamoto, Jeremy Scott, A$AP Rocky and Kanye West amongst their designer roster, the label just announced they have now tapped Nigo for what they're calling a "long term partnership with Adidas Originals." The iconic streetwear designer's collection is set to drop this Fall (which, by the way, is the same time the world will be introduced to Kanye x Adidas). It will be interesting to see if Nigo can reclaim some of his former Bape glory with this collaboration, and how the fuck he will find the time to do all this now that he is also the Creative Director of Uniqlo UT.
