this is so fucked up. its like “lets shoot people of color and different class range so our predominantly upper middle class white readers can relate?” it’s like going to a zoo to admire the animals. if i ever see alex lee in public i’m going to punch him in the jaw for this photoshoot.

i bet none of this gentlemen in this photoshoot has ever heard of visvim or some artisanal indigo dyed limited edition bullshit. you guys look and sound like a bunch of puesdo wiggers who admire to be something you are not. definition of a fuck boy.

i’m sorry.. aspire to be something you are not. same goes for lawrence too.. he getting it if i ever catch him in public.

I don’t see how this is fucked up. He’s documenting actual New York Street Style. These aren’t people that are getting dressed up with hopes of landing on some fashion or style blog. These are normal, everyday people that are comfortable with their own personal style.

can we get the regular street style guy back who gets pictures other than the back of jackets and homeless people?

Another (more common) representation of NY that is equally as valid, if not more important than the usuals. Great work. I’d love to see more of this! To that dude talking about people of color: I got MAD color bro and I back this.

For all you haters out there, I know this isn’t the typical post but this is, after all, an article on New York City street style and you have to remember that these are real people walking the streets of NYC wearing things that they believe to be cool and in style. So don’t judge the author or the people in the photos, because this is real urban fashion.
